Name: Nagisa Hoshijo (Shingetsu)
Age: 11
Species: Human
Personality: Nagisa Hoshijo is a young boy who tries to act far more mature than his peers. He tends to be very serious and calm (and tries to talk like adults), but is easily embarrassed. He tries to hide his feelings with sarcastic remarks. He's very intelligent for his age and often takes advanced classes. He's not athletic, though, and very much prefers to read books. He sets high expectations for himself(that he believes others expect of him) to achieve to the point that he breaks down when he feels that he has failed people's expectations. He's very frightened by adults and hates having to interact with them, and would rather be around his adoptive mother (one of the few adults he trusts), other kids, or the servants of Ayashima. He doesn't like people referring to anything but actual games as games.
Backstory: Nagisa was born to a family that prided itself on academic excellence, and his father was a professor at Tokyo University. Nagisa had a natural inclination to social studies, but his father wanted him to become a genius, so when at home, Nagisa would be forced to study from when he got home to when he went back to school, and he only received any sort of nutrition from the IVs his father pumped into his veins. His parents viewed as a sort of game and beat him to keep him in line. However, at Nagisa's school, an older student had noticed that something was wrong with him and told a teacher, who in turn called child protective services, who had Nagisa taken away to a new family, which carried the name of Hoshijo. Despite it all, he still prefers to be called Shingetsu so as to not let his father win (but his foster family still calls him Nagisa). They took him to Ayashima once to give him a break after he had a breakdown.
Connection to Ayashima: Nagisa's family was descended from one of the original servants who had started at Ayashima, and they were invited to attend the Ayashima celebration. He came with his foster mother, Shizuka.
Magical abilities, if any: None.
Love interest, if any: This boy went through too much for him to develop a healthy interest in romance. He sure could use friends.
