After the fourth twilight passed with nothing to show for it, the witch struck at midnight, marking the dawn of her next twilight. She stepped out of the room she has finished her latest killing in with a conflicted expression on her face, and locked the door behind her and setting up the chain to the room with magic, and she tossed aside the feather duster with a cobweb in it on the floor behind her, clutching at her burnt hand. "... Foolish furniture... did you think I'd really let you become a human and let you leave my servitude?" she scoffed as she vanished, taking up her usual form of butterflies. "I forgot how tiring it is to manifest in this form... well, once all my power comes back, I could face the world itself with no problems..."
The next day dawned, with rain still hitting the two mansions with no sign of stopping. Some of the servants found that they couldn't locate one of the furniture, and began a search for him. After a long search, they ended up at a door coated with red markings, like runes. They formed a pentacle that a person with an occult knowledge or a book from the Archives (if they could get over the dead child in there) could see as a pentacle as designed to cause discord among people. The servants found that the door was closed by a chain, so they got bolt cutters and stepped into the room. What they found was two corpses lying by the bed of the guest in the room, holding onto each other. The female corpse has a stake buried into her chest, and the male corpse had one sticking out of his stomach. The purple-haired furniture mumbled out, "Yune-kun... Cry-sama... I'm sorry..." as she lowered her face, some dark thought passing over her head as a red-haired detective darted past her to examine the scene properly. To Ryouko, losing another detective wasn't bad, but she hoped Sawyer-san had good ways of communicating with people like the dead detective right here.
The fifth and sixth twilights have commenced.
