After the night where the letter from Eli arrived, the second day on the island finally came. A second letter was left in front of the door to Yurri Kishin's room, and he chose to be left alone for the day. The servants found a blood-soaked key inside the surprisingly clean envelope that belonged to the chapel, and they headed over to the chapel out of concern. Written on the door was a magic circle, and once they opened the chapel, they noticed a message written in red above the altar that read "May the game begin-Eli".
As they stepped into the chapel, they stepped into a pool of red that originated from a table set up on the right side of the chapel, where six chairs were coated in something red. The servants looked up and found six people pinned to the wall with swords through their hands and a slice to their throats. The bodies were also supported by golden chains that hung from the rafters in the ceiling, and upon closer examination, the corpses also had their eyes slashed. The servant Sane, the servant Hanon, Jason Dean Byers, Hanayo Koizumi, Rika Koizumi, and Rohiko Koizumi were chosen for the first twilight. The witch's game has commenced.

"H-holy... holy shit..." You Watanabe managed to curse from her gaping mouth. Some of her closest friends and their relatives were pinned to walls like they were targets to a giant's game of darts. The young energetic maid who rescued her that first day, Will's older brother, and her rice-loving companion: all of them dead. "I can't even... right now... How?"
"W-w-w-w-w-w--w--w-well, the person must've slit their throats, then put them on the wall?" Tsumiki guessed.
"Makes sense, but why here? Why the chains? Why everything???" she replied and held her head that seemed to spin forever.

Ryouko, not one to pass up investigating a crime, had followed servants to the chapel, and had already begun taking notes of the scene. "So, a circle on the door... that eerie message... it seems those are done in blood, taken from the pool of blood there." She took note of blood on the seats at the table. "They were most likely killed here." Ryouko approached the corpses hanging from the rafters, and reached up to try to touch the shoe of the little girl. A part of her was glad that the little girl had been killed, since the young girl had been an obvious fan of her crush back home, and she was not welcome to the chance that, however slim, this girl could have been a rival in getting his attention. And for some reason she couldn't pin, she felt a satisfaction at seeing the young teen boy dead up there. "It seems the swords were taken from various displays in this church. And the key in that envelope the servants found outside the Master's study came from this chapel." She curtsied, and then touched a hand to her face. "What a morbid mind to have come up with such a plan. I'd like to humiliate the person who thought of this grisly murder."
In Meta, Eli was sitting on the table, amused by what had transpired. "Hey, Veronica, Cry. And I suppose if you can hear me, little Ryouko. Is this murder gruesome enough to make you believe I am a witch?"
Mone, on the other hand, was trying to comfort any of the non-investigative roles that had come in, feeling annoyed at the fact that she was allowed to be aware of the nature of the game and her role in it. "Please, everyone... let those who are investigating do their jobs... let's go back to the mansion..."
